All diamonds are graded by a universal standard,
the 4Cs, established in the early 1940s.
This criterion gives diamonds a deeper intrigue and value and is key to truly appreciating these precious stones.
carat
Carat is simply the weight of a diamond, not its size. Two diamonds of the same carat can look bigger or smaller than each other depending on how they're cut. Instead of chasing a number, we help you pick a carat weight that actually looks right on your hand.
colour
The whiter a diamond, the more it sparkles. Diamonds are graded from colourless to slightly yellow, and the closer to colourless, the more premium the stone.
cut
Cut is what makes a diamond sparkle. It's not about the shape (like round or oval) - it's about how well the diamond is faceted to catch and reflect light. A well-cut diamond looks brighter and more alive, even if it's smaller.
clarity
Clarity is about how clean a diamond looks inside. Most diamonds have tiny natural marks invisible to the eye - clarity grading just tells you how few and how small they are. The higher the clarity, the clearer the stone.
